This weekend I found this blog, Happy Scrap Girl. There are freebies for digital scrapbooking on there and a lot of them! I was looking at the template sites, but there are many more.

I love to take pictures and put them into a layout and tell my stories with my work. I hope to offer recipes here for you to be able to do that, too! I also hope to offer ideas for cute gifts to create. Welcome to my kitchen where I create, design, and make it "A Piece of Cake." Thanks for looking!
My Cake Mix

My camera is a Nikon D80 Digital SLR with a Nikon DX 18-135mm lens - it is what I use now for my pictures and LOVE it! My computer is a Mac Book Pro. It makes my picture taking and designing "A Piece of Cake"!
Making Cupcakes

* Use a photo enhancing software package * Use costumes, matching clothes, or cute outfits * Use a solid sheet or fabric for drape in background * Use outdoor nature for background * Use solid color clothing * Take picture upclose - zoom in on subject
Icing on the Cake

I love to tell stories through my pictures and through paper, hybrid, and digital layouts. I use Photoshop Elements (PSE) 4.0 for Mac to create digital page layouts and storyboards. I got started in digital scrapbooking with Memory Mixer and found it to be very easy to use to tell our stories. The things I can do in PSE is just the "Icing on the Cake!"
A Cherry on Top

I like to touch up my photos in iphoto on my mac. I use Photoshop Elements for photo tinting and other actions. Before Photoshop elements, I used Photo Explosion 3.0. I will post tutorials for both Photo Explosion and Photoshop Elements 4.0 here so they will be "A Piece of Cake!"
